When pint-sized Picassos get to work on their latest masterpieces, it’s not surprising to find crayon stains everywhere, even on one’s favourite shirt. Crayon stains are not so simple to remove since they’re a combination of greasy stains thanks to the wax and also oxidisable due to the colour. You’ll want to use bleaching agents to remove this kind of stain, which you’ll find in our Ariel Original Washing Liquid. However, be sure the stain has completely gone before you pop it in the drier, as any leftover stain will get set into the fabric. With Ariel stain solutions and our tips on crayon stain removal there is no need to worry about how to get rid of crayon stains on clothes. Here’s a little help from Ariel.
Remove Crayon Stains
1
Remove excess
Gently scrape the crayon stain with a spoon and shake any residue from the garment.
2
Pre-treat
For effective stain removal, pour Ariel Original Washing Liquid directly onto the crayon stain.
3
Load
Without washing off the liquid detergent, place the garment into the washing machine with other items. Leaving the washing detergent on the crayon stain will boost your wash performance.
4
Dose
The cap also acts as a dosing device. Just fill it with the correct dose of liquid detergent and place it directly into your washing machine drum, on top of your dirty laundry.
5
Wash
Wash on the usual cycle, on the hottest wash temperature recommended by the garment’s care label.
6
Unload
When the cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.
