Get the most out of your Ariel Liquid Detergent with our handy guide on dosing.
When it comes to effective washing and stain removal it’s important to use your Ariel liquid detergent correctly. Our laundry tips can help you get that perfect clean look, smell and feel when you take your clothes out of the washing machine after the first wash.
But to get the most from your liquid detergent, you need to make sure you know how to use it correctly.
How to pre-treat
For tough stains, pre-treating is the best way to great results. And with Ariel Liquid Detergent and the pre-treat cap, it couldn’t be simpler. Just pour detergent onto the stain and use the flexible wings on the pre-treat cap to spread the detergent deep into the garment’s fibres. You can find out more in our video.
How much to dose
When it comes to doing your laundry, it’s important to use the right amount of Ariel washing liquid. But the amount of Ariel that you need depends on a few different criteria.
Make sure to check the dosing instructions on your pack first, before using the pre-treat cap as a dosing device, to ensure you use the correct detergent dosage.
How to dose
You can use your pre-treat cap as a dosing device. Just fill it as per the instructions above and place it directly into your washing machine’s drum, on top of the laundry. Dosing directly into the drum helps you to achieve outstanding results. In fact, if you pour the liquid into the drawer, the detergent could get lost in the washing machine pipes before reaching the drum, reducing effectiveness.
How to wash
You should load your dirty laundry before dosing Ariel liquid detergent. Make sure not to overload by using the palm trick. Just place your palm into the top of your drum, above your laundry. If your hand doesn’t fit, remove items until it does.
How to hand wash
Besides pre-treating, Ariel liquid detergent can also be used to hand wash your clothes. Just simply pour a teaspoon of liquid detergent into a tub of slightly warm water, put the stained piece of clothing in the water, swish it around with your hands for a couple of minutes, and then move your garment into another tub of (detergent-free) water. Rinse your garb by pulling it out of the water a couple of times, then, when there’s no more soap, lay the piece of clothing on a flat surface and let it dry for a few hours.
Always make sure to check your fabric care labels, too, for best results.
Keep detergents safe
Don’t forget Ariel laundry detergents are chemicals, so for child safety they should be kept out of reach of children and pets. and pets. Always keep your detergent out of the way of grasping hands, preferably somewhere dark and dry.
For the best results, follow these simple dosing steps. Use Ariel Liquid Detergent and you can look forward to outstanding result in the first wash.
